iPhone Use
The iPhone™ application is compatible with all iOS devices running iOS 4.2 and above. It can be downloaded from the App Store™
The iPhone application stays in Sync with your online calendar. It has been designed to work in a very similar way to your normal iPhone calendar and it is used in the following ways.
Login to facebook when the application starts. All event and share data will automatically update. You can press 'Refresh' to do this manually anytime.
Today/Calendar View
When 'Refreshed' this view will show you friends that you are sharing calendars with and any events they have for today.
To see friends full calendars in all other views simply select the friend and place a 'tick' next to their name.
These can be turned off by pressing again. You can use the 'All on my iPhone' button to turn all friends calendars on or off.
- List - All events in a list format.
- Day - All events for the selected day.
- Month - Select the date from a month view and the events for that date will be displayed.
You can also check your 'Share Settings' and make changes. Press Calendars>Share
The following options are available.
- Tell Friends - By SMS/Email
- Send Share Request - Select any that you would like to share with then click 'Send Share Request'. When your friend(s) approve the request you will be sharing calendars
- Remove Shares - Select the friend, then 'Remove Sharing'. You will no longer be able to see their calendar and they will not be able to see yours.
- Incoming Share Requests - Select the friend then 'Accept' or 'Reject'. If you press 'Accept' your calendar will be visible to that friend and you will also be able to see their calendar. Pressing 'Reject' will remove this friend from this list and no sharing will be set up.
- My Requests - Select the friend then 'Cancel Request' - This will revoke the friend request to that friend.
